Paint Party Friday.....look at the cute visitor in our Garden......

Hi Everyone......

We were so super thrilled when we walked outside and kept seeing these two doves.....they are always around and our son loves them.....then one day I was outside and noticed that they hung around one of our old spiral evergreens and saw this cute little dove peeking at me from the bush...

I then looked a little harder and found that they have one egg in a cute little nest in our tree.....so we are thrilled to have these new guests visiting us while they grow their family.....


and they inspired my latest ink and watercolour painting that I am sharing with all of my talented friends over at Paint Party Friday.....I hope you all take a moment to look around at all of the amazing art links on that special blog.....

What's on my workspace....Messing around with some gift wrap designs....Let them eat cake!

Hi Everyone.....

Hope you are all having a super sweet day....I have extended my long weekend and enjoyed some quality time shopping with my parents....we started the day with a trip to IKEA....one of my favorite places to see kitchen stuff....it was a blast and a half.....talk about tons of inspiration and I always love what their designers create with surface designs.....love the fabrics and the fun glassware.....

Here are some shots I took with my Blackberry ......fun stuff in the kitchen area and I couldn't help but fall in love with the bird inspired fabric!!!

Well anyways...Even though I take a few days off here and there I am always working on new things...so today I was playing around with some fun new surface designs.....and cake was on my mind too...so I created this cute slice of cake and then made some colour choices for backgrounds to see where this design will go....

Painting some tulips with my little Artist......

Hi Everyone....what a wonderful Spring day....filled with all the things that inspire us to create something....Today we were out enjoying our tulips and thought it was a perfect inspiration for our watercolour paintings today....so munchkin and I decided to paint and you can see our paintings and our tulips that inspired our work today.....I love spending these sweet moments with our son.....His work always makes me as happy as can be and I will treasure these moments forever....
