Art Creations Friday and Some Easter fun decorating....

Here is my submission to art creations friday...They feature a picture each week and you get inspired to create something with it...a lot of fun...This piece is all about my lavender garden and how much I love seeing the butterflies around it....
I purchased this art doll a few years ago and I just love her...what a wonderful piece of art from an artist in Hawaii of all places....doesn't she look ever so cute by our jar of treats.....


I picked up these baskets this year...one for each of us....and the cute bunnies that sit in them too...what a fun find!!!
Cole and I always enjoy decorating ....This weekend we will be working on our Easter Eggs with family....and enjoying this Blessed Holiday....but in the mean time we put out some sweet stuff...

Theme Thursday - 2 x 4 - my take...Sunday Best

Every year Mathilda's Mom would find a new fun hat for Easter Sunday....and Mathilda loved her new hats....they were always fun and very artsy....

but this year was special...this year she helped create her Sunday hat and added all of the fun things she did with her family as a tradition during Easter...

The most important addition to her hat this year was a hand sewn cross that was inside her hat....she wanted it close to her....

No one knew about it but her...and that made it even more special....



Sometimes we may not show our faith openly...but as long as we are aware of it...that makes it a true gift....

Three Muses Challenge - A nice cup of tea....hop over!!!

Ok ...bunny rabbits in tea cups...pretty silly I know...but isn't Calvin one of the cutest bunnies?

...and he does have some special decorated eggs to offer too....

Theme Thursday "Art words" my words are "Sweet" and "Create"

Hi Everyone....

here are the Easter inspired cupcake toppers I created...these are so much fun to make and use for any occasion...I have so many ideas for these...special ones for Birthdays and custom ones with faces....you name it...it can all come to life....This week over at Theme Thursday the theme is "Art words" and I was inspired to create something with the word "Sweet" and "Create"....so as you all know I am all about cupcakes and cupcake art....and now I am even making art for the tops of cupcakes...I know there are no words on these pieces...so I hope this still counts....

I am listing these in my Etsy Shop and will be adding some custom listings too...

These are so cute and sweet that I did a whole photo shoot with them....more fun things to come...so keep popping in!!!

Stitches - My latest creation...some Bright and cheery Easter Garland

Hi Everyone....

I am a bit late to the party over at The CAC challenge...his past week the theme is stitches...and I just made some new and fun hand painted Easter and Spring inspired garlands....I guess we can think up some pretty silly ideas in our heads....but when I finished these with watercolour paint and some glitter and ribbon.....they just made my day.....
