Last minute Dinner Party.....dessert idea.....
Hi Everyone....
This morning I decided to host a last minute dinner party tonight....and instead of just picking up some dessert I decided to head to my pantry and see what I could make....I found....Italian Lady finger cookies....Chocolate Fudge Jello Pudding, rum and some espresso coffee.....so I decided to make a super quick and easy individual Chocolate Tiramius ........so I got some ramekins....made some espresso....you can even use instant espresso.....cut and dipped some lady fingers in the coffee ....sprinkled some rum on the cookies too....then place a spoonful of pudding to cover....then repeated the process....till the cup was full....so two layers of espresso dipped cookies and two layers of pudding.....when I finished these cups I wanted to decorate them so I looked in the pantry again and found our son's miniature marshmallows in beautiful pastels...and some coloured sugar...just yellow and green.....yellow for the centers of each flower and green to embellish the leaves........
I tool out my kitchen scissors and cut yellow marshmallows in half....then dipped them in the yellow sugar and used them for the flower centers....for the petals and leaves I cut the marshmallows on a diagonal ...when you cut them on a diagonal you get nice tips for the leaves and petals.....I used the petals plain...and then used green sugar for the leaves....placed them on top and I think they look so cute.....
I think they turned out perfect!!! will see what happens at tonight's Dinner Party....Hope they are a hit!!!
Happy Tuesday Everyone....and Happy Creating!!!
