Very cute owl. (now do 3 more! :-))

One day I was riding my bike and came upon 2 great horned owls on a wooded path - right in the middle of the day. They were interested in something in the canal along the path. One flew away immediately but the other let me actually get within 6 feet of him. I stopped my bike an just marveled at how beautiful he was. And believe it or not, just 5 minutes before this - a bob cat ran across my path as well. I've been lucky enough to see 2 more owls (barred owls this time), but I'm still keeping an eye out for that bob cat again!
