I am still under the weather....but Friday I finished writing my next picture book....it was the Sweetest thing .....our son came home from school and they had a trip to a pumpkin patch and a farm....they had so much fun and when we got home from school we sat together and he told me all about his trip....and while he was eating one of the juicy apples he picked....we talked about things and a new book came to life!!! This story melted my heart and I can't wait to get it edited and start the illustrations!!! So this is what I am sharing for Sweet Saturdays.....

New Paper Doll for my book....meet this sweet little Angel Matryoshka...Happy Paint Party Friday!!!

Hi Everyone! I am still fighting off this cough and cold...but spending as much time resting when I can....but this week I had to work on some new designs for my Paper Doll Book coming out in 2012....so I sat in bed all medicated and this little Angel popped in my head.....

I have always loved Russian nesting dolls and even created some years ago when I was lucky enough to get my hands on some wooden blank dolls.....I thought this would be a neat idea to merge my love for Angels with my love for these sweet Matryoshka dolls.....and this Paper Doll came to life.....

In November I have an art show where I will be unveiling these to the public here in my city....and chatting about the book....so I am thrilled to share these with all of you here......This is my 16th doll in this amazing and fun series!!!

My new playful earrings.....virtual Paris.....

 

Bonjour Mes Amis!!!!

As many of you know...I am in love with all things Parisian....and so I decided my new line of fun playful bling would be all about Virtual Paris....so I created a whole new line of fun earrings that are like the delightful treats in the yummy bakeries around Paris.....these colours just make me happy and I think my addiction to baking Macarons has to stop!!! or I will be in big trouble....
