Daily Art Stop - Challenge Wednesday - "Mermaids"

Hi Everyone...

I don't know about you...but when I was growing up I wanted to be a mermaid...I thought it was the neatest thing to be able to swim under water without coming up for air...perhaps why I am fascinated by Scuba Diving now...

This week on Daily Art Stop the theme for Challenge Wednesday is "Mermaids" and I made a special watercolour one this morning and added a few from years passed....The new watercolour piece will have some papercut details that I will finish this week...I will post it again once it's totally finished with all the details....

Hope you enjoy them!!!
Hugs
Diana

hi diana!
oh these are wonderful! i cannot wait to see her with your hand carving. i just love when you do that!
your question brought back a memory of when melanie and i were little we loved to swim for hours. it was so fun to go into the deep end and dive down where it was so quiet and light.

what a great art challenge.

Wow!! I can just picture you as a mermaid with your gorgeous flowing hair...much like the lovely in your art pieces. Your newest has the most gorgeous looking locks. I can't wait to see how you finish her.

Diana, I love your mermaid drawings! They are beautiful and since I'm an Aquarius, I always wanted to be a mermaid with long, flowing purple hair, of course, when I was young.

I was just wondering what you or anyone else here does with your artwork or your children's art work? I mean the works that are lying around, the ones you don't have room to put up.

I found a review on this place called So Simple Designs, and they take your artwork and make them into whatever type of stationary you like, cards, notepads, etc,. Here's a link to the review: http://www.sharesavvy.ca/cities/toronto/reviews/12

Awaiting my stationary and any good tips from anyone here,

Victoria
