Today is my Wonderful Dad's Birthday and we love him!!!

Hi Everyone...please help celebrate my wonderful Dad's Birthday today...he loves his ice fishing!!! We celebrated with the family on Friday...and tonight we do it all over again!!!

Congratulations to the Oscar winners...and to a long time favorite...Sandra Bullock

I always love watching the Academy Awards....they are like a big bowl of celebrity alphabet soup....so inspirational with their amazing gowns...and accessories....and the dedication to their art....I was so happy to see all of the nominees in every category...and they should all be winners.....but I have to say that seeing Sandra win her first Oscar was wonderful...she has always been one of my favorites...she just seems down to earth and is really enjoying life...a lesson we could all learn....

It was a wonderful show!!! I also loved her gown...she looked like a winner the moment she walked in.....who was your best dressed?

and the Oscar goes to........Mixed Media Monday...It’s Not All Black and White

Hi Everyone...when I checked out this week's prompt on MMM I was pleasantly surprised....since I just got this inspirational photo of a black and white bathroom...which inspired my painting this weekend...I spent the whole day painting our master bathroom...and the colours fit the challenge perfectly.....I never thought I would ever paint the master bathroom black...but it turned out amazing.....and now it looks like I am at a posh hotel ...I love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I also am an Oscar fan...so I will be watching the awards tonight....so in lieu of the event....I decided to create my "It’s Not All Black and White" piece inspired around Oscar night....
