Paint Party Friday....a Custom Watercolour Commission...Class is Dismissed....

Hi Everyone....I have no idea where the week went....it flew by....This week was full of surprises....we enjoyed some warmer days and went hiking and we just bought some new bikes so we can also start some Mountain Biking and riding on the new trails by our home....the weather makes you long to be outdoors....so I am up for anything these days.... We even played some soccer yesterday...it was 77 degrees out!! I even had to turn the a/c on in my car....(but don't tell my husband ...he will think I have gone mad....) Had a scarf on one day and then was way too hot the next day....typical.....lol.....

Anyways...back to the reason for this post...... Paint Party Friday.......I had the pleasure of working on a special commission for a client this week....her son attended kindergarten class with a special teacher ....about 25 years ago...and she is retiring in May......so they asked me to create a custom watercolour of her classroom!! what a fun time I had working on this cute classroom!!!  I feel truly blessed to be able to create everyday....

I hope this painting is a huge hit with the special Teacher who is getting it as a gift....

What have you been up to this past week? I hope you had a wonderful time ......

Happy Friday and Happy Creating Everyone....

My friend was a K teacher for 30 years she loved art and she would of loved this as a gift also but unfortunately she died from Pancrea cancer. The good news her daughter is in teachers college perusing her Moms love of being a teacher. I miss Lynne her Mom so much and her daughter I babysat when Lynne took extra classes for Special need children. Enjoy the days as you never know what To-morrow brings.
Your work is lovely, cheerful and excellent always. Have a nice day.
