Paint Party Friday.....burned and painted these chairs....

I even made a special little Gratitude Box for us.......and don't the chairs look happy with their new view!

Hi Everyone....I am so excited to share with you some chairs I burned and then painted. My husband made me these wooden Muskoka Chairs and I loved them plain....but I wanted to do something with them and every time I work with wood....you know me ...I love to bring out my wood burning tools....and I went to town on these chairs and I love the way they turned out and they look amazing up at the Cottage....

I love the scent of wood burning and the relaxation of just burning wood....plus how super cool does it sound to tell people you are working on some new wood and pyrography pieces....lol....

I am sharing my newly painted and burned chairs with all of my super talented friends over at Paint Party Friday......what a super fun place to meet new artists from around the world....

Happy Friday Everyone....and Happy Creating!

  10. Stunning work :D Although I know better, I have this image of you sitting there with a magnifying glass and burning that way :D

Very creative way of bringing some personal touch to your furniture (although Hubby made them, can't get much more personal than that :D, but now you've added your touch, so it is a truly combined piece of art).

    Happy PPF!

  17. The chairs are wonderful - your husband did a wonderful job building and you did a wonderful job "arting" (not a word I guess!!!). As queen of the tools - I have wood burning tools and have never used them. I will get to them someday (LOL).
