The Summer of Colour....week 3....Zinnias

Hi Everyone...and Happy Monday!!!!

I am back from a wonderful and inspiring weekend up at the cottage and I bring you some zinnias I worked on for the Summer of Colour week 3.....When I was growing up my Parents had a huge vegetable garden and every year my Mom would put in a huge row of Zinnias....one of my favorite summertime flowers....these babies grow in all sorts of colours and I love the way they look and smile at you.....these flowers are something I always added to my very own vegetable garden every year....but this year I didn't plant any....and I am missing them already....so I thought I would draw some to remember them....

Next year I will have to sow some seeds of these pretties....

Sharing these with all of my friends in blog land today!!!

Happy Monday and Happy Creating Everyone....

  11. Beautiful drawing!!! All those petals!! Zinnias remind me of summer too! I didn't get any this year- and I am going to really miss them in August- when they were usually in full bloom when other flowers were struggling...
