I find myself falling on these little house sketches whenever I have a chance to doodle....so today I created this piece and finished it in ink and watercolour..... I am wondering about the people that dwell in this little home sweet home....and I wonder what they have planned for their Sunday....I think there will be some baking going on in the kitchen and some fun art and creative stuff happening in the wonderful treed yard in the back.....perhaps even an afternoon tea with some friends....I guess our imaginations can take us just about anywhere.....

ReplyDeleteHi Diana, I love your little houses. They always seem to tell a little story. I know that mom is in the kitchen putting the Sunday roast in the oven and Dad's at the computer getting his work ready for Monday. The kiddie's are getting cleaned up and then there's Emma, the oldest, who is helping mom set the table. This is going to be a wonderful Sunday dinner. Roast, mashed potatoes and gravy, homemade biscuits and mixed veggies. Oh yum, I'm hungry. Thanks for sharing.

Une petite maison où il doit faire bon vivre... Les couleurs sont très douces... Je viens de rentrer il y a tout juste quelques heures après plus jours d'absence et cette maison représente pour moi un signe de bienvenue à nouveau à la maison...
