Happy Birthday to my amazing Daddy.....I love him with all my heart!
Hi Everyone....
Today is my Dad's Birthday and I wanted to wish him the greatest day ever.......he is the reason I was always inspired to create and paint and draw every day....I am very blessed to have him in our lives and today we celebrate his Birthday.....
I made him this special painting from one of my favorite pictures of him....when he was a wee little boy....I have this black and white photo in my Studio and I had to create my colour version of it.....I love the setting in this photo...super Cute!!!! so Happy Birthday Daddy!!! I love you with all my heart!!!! Tonight we will celebrate and eat the cake I baked for him....you can check it out here....

I love photos from way back then - the sepia tones and the way they posed had something wonderful that today's digital photography for all its bells and whistles just can't compete with. A great illustration of photo too - am sure he'll be so delighted with it!

That is such a great tribute and you are going to be daughter of the year with that one... don't you love how high all their shorts always were... looks so funny now and we always tease my dad about it... his Grandkids find it endlessly funny... hope he has a great day..xx
