bird1

Lately I have been working in the studio with several mediums...today I thought I would show you my latest cute bird....I call this the Paris Tweet two ways....I love this cute little birdy....I have him dark and light.....what do you think is better?

The darker one or the lighter piece....

I am submitting my "Paris Tweet" to MMM this week...the theme is open and I just can't stop creating these ink and watercolour pieces....

  1. I absolutely LOVE both, just for their differences. Of course I am drawn to darker colors, so that would be a favorite if I was forced to pick.
    They each have different personalities.
    These are wonderful.... :)

  7. These are so beautiful!! I love the way the ink really makes the lovely colors pop off the page - and the way you've incorporated your style here. They are both so impressive, xo

  10. Oh Diana! Hi, long time no anything fro me sorry.
The bottom one for me has a lot more zing - the colours are fresh and clear.

Maybe a combination of the two - the darker background of the top behind the lighter bird on the bottom?

    Who knows?

It's all a matter of taste eh? :)

    cheers

  23. Wow, Diana - your birds are amazing. I would be hard pressed to choose between them - but if you twisted my arm, I'd probably choose the darker one.
