Art Creations Friday - background

Everyone was Green with Envy ....you see Donna had the most amazing eyes...She was known for her Green eyes....she was a dead ringer for a younger Betty Davis...but no blue eyes here...only shades of Green....

What colour are your eyes? and do you like the colour....or would you want to change the colour?

I think it's human nature to always want something that we just can't have....but I have to say that the person staring at your eyes is thinking the same thing....

I created this piece using a background texture over at "Art Creations Friday" ...I really love textures these days.....

Have a wonderful day!!!

Hugs
Diana

and I just saw this thanks to Debbie...what a nice reminder to enjoy life and be kind to everyone you meet.....Live life fully and always be grateful...

I am a texture junkie....that is what I have missed while sewing (although that is textural too)---the mess I can make withe gesso, gels and paints!

Yesturday (not song) I heard on BBC, that in this year, will be 30 year, from the date of John Lenon death. and...

  22. Oh, this made me cry! I love this Glee video. During the Olympics, a lot of the cast was in Vancouver and we saw some of them eating at our favourite diner.

Your piece is fabulous, Diana! Love how you used this great background for her outfit too. My eyes are green and it is one of few body parts that I have always liked!

    Cheers!

  31. Oh, Diana, she is GORGEOUS! That is a great texture, and what a wonderful shade of green! My daughter keeps saying how she wishes she had green eyes. But we come from a long line of browns.

Your teacup bunny made me giggle, too! I'm sure he added some wonderful flavor. And some sweetness, too!

  32. I love, love , love that Lady with the movie-star appeal.
Not even the background is great.
    And of cause her eyes....
    They are beautiful.
By the way, mine are green too ;0)

  33. Oh my, she is stunning. I think we should stay with the eye color we were given. I once had a friend with the darkest brown eyes, and when she would wear her blue contacts, I never trusted that it was her!
