Head in the Trees - Latest wood canvas with Pyrography...in my Transformation Series....submission to Crazy Amigos this week...

I took a photo of Cole with the piece so you can get a sense of the size....

Hi Everyone...This week's theme on Crazy Amigos is Proverbs and sayings....so I picked the following saying...."A person is known by the company he keeps...."
My piece is titled "Head in the Trees" as more and more people are taking more care to transform the way we think about the environment....and who doesn't love the company of a very old and wonderful tree....they are like support ...support for life...with the oxygen they replenish....support for our feathered friends who need a place to be sheltered....support for so much....
I also found this site that has a list of all the proverbs....pretty neat to read through them....
Happy Tuesday!!!
Hugs
Diana

  6. Wow Diana! That is really great. I love seeing Cole next to it since it gives a better understanding of the scope and size of this piece... as well as getting a look at your little cutie. Thanks for sharing.

  7. You're going to town with that wood burner, girl! I might have to get mine out...when I finally get the art room done (almost there!) I like the way her face is part of the tree.
