Arty Girlz Challenge Blog - "Smile"

Hi Everyone...

My latest picture book is out and available....

I am so thrilled...you can read more about it here

This was a rough that I did when I was trying to get the characters figured out...so it was not one that we used but I thought it was perfect for the prompt "SMILE"

    This little boy is so cute. I really love your dragonflies! This made me smile, that is for sure.
    Do you draw these by hand on paper or do you generate them on the computer?

    and to answer your question Kristen...I draw everything by hand on paper...I am a tactile artist ....I do scan my work and use cool tools to make them come alive.....but I always start with my sketchbook!!!

    this was a rough I did...it will not be used so I added it to my portfolio....not based on my son...but a character the author developed in her book...
