Hi Everyone...I wanted to show some of my dimensional work....these Santa and snowman dolls are made from re-cycled wood from a local furniture shop.....they get rid of scraps and I am lucky enough to be able to take it and bring it to life....I draw and then cut the wooden pieces, then do some carving...and then assemble and paint.....
I started these years ago and make more each year...they become happy centerpieces for family and friends....

ReplyDeleteI love your wooden Santas! Too bad we can't get together so we could have a wooden Santa convention. I have a collection of about 30 of them, about half of which I made myself. Isn't it fun how each develops his own personality as you go along?
