Weeding, Weeding...Gone....

Hi Everyone....
I haven't had the chance to finish off some of my illustrations because I have been outside weeding all of our gardens....
I am happy to say that we finished weeding the front garden, the vegetable garden and I managed to trim my box wood garden...

Brad built Cole his own sand box since we could barely get him to leave the beach...
he loves it....

my box wood garden

my yummy vegetable garden ...we are eating all kinds of yummy lettuces and baby greens these days...I can't wait till we can eat some yummy peppers and tomatoes...with basil...
Minnie always keeps me company when I work in the garden...she is so sweet.....

and I love the lavendar...as I work I can smell it and it is relaxing....
I will be working on my give aways this weekend!!!
Thanks for popping by...
Hugs

  1. Oh my goodness. Your yard and gardens are stunning! What a lot of work you have put into them. I can smell that lavender almost as I look at the photo. I've always adored the scent. I think it's so true about its ability to calm.

  7. That is beautiful! And I am so impressed that you are able to keep up with all of it. Weeding is not one of my strong suits, so I go for more of the informal wild flower type looks! =)
Really lovely photos, thanks for sharing!

  9. AAHHH! What a beautiful home. I love everything I see. A child should have a sandbox indeed. Ours did and they loved it. Eventually they made mud pies. Your entryway is perfect no wonder you make beautiful art.

  10. Wow Diana, your gardens are beautiful! That boxwood garden looks amazing. Inspired!
I stumbled upon a beautiful herb garden at a bed and breakfast Mike and I stayed at last year. It had the same layout as your boxwood, with a statue in the middle. They picked lemon verbina from the garden and made us fresh lemon verbina tea for breakfast, with sliced lemons. I so want to do that eventually!

  12. Wow! What a garden!
And all so neat and tidy....... Sometimes I wonder where people get the time from, to do so much and everything so perfect?!
I0m always busy but while I do something the other jobs have to wait, so I never get everything in order. Well I guess that's just the way it is (with me).
Lovely pictures and the cupcake is cool as always. Hope you have had a wonderful day .
    love Marianne

  14. Oh my gosh! All of your gardens are absolutely beautiful! At first, I thought you were joking about the boxwood garden and that it was a photo of a formal garden in England or somewhere. Then I realized that in fact that gorgeous boxwood sanctuary is yours! Man, I feel the need to go do some serious yard work!
