Day 5 of 21 Day Creative Exercise - Illustration Friday - theme "Seed"



Hi Everyone...

This is day 5 of my 21 Day Creative Exercise... To learn more about it and join in click on Alicia's note.

As soon as I got my e-mail from IF about this week's theme "seed" watermelon came to mind...and I just love it! I eat tons of watermelon all year long....

  1. Like your crisp and colourful drawing; of course it remind me of how we used to spit mouthsful of watermelon seeds at one another as a kid.

    Mmmmm, delicious! The speaker who suggested the 21 day exercise is a writer (Laurie Halse Anderson)and part of her advice for making time was to write/paint anywhere; in a car, in the bathroom, waiting in line, etc. Your stolen moments approach is right in line with that!

  7. Of course! Watermelon is a ball of seeds surrounded by flesh. I like the blue background. This watermelon is a real come on on a hot day.
