It is with great sadness that I post this...
My Grandfather passed away in the early hours on March 1st 2008. He was the most amazing man who could make anyone smile and laugh. He was a huge force in my life and I adore him. He used to pinch our cheeks so hard when we were younger that it would almost hurt...he loved us so much and there are so many memories that will stay with me forever...
A perfect quote is: " To the world you may be one person, but to one
person you may be the world"(author unknown)...My Grandfather was the world to all of us....I love you dear Grandfather...and I know that you are always by my side now...

I am so sorry Diana. So sorry. I am gad you got to spend time with him in his last days. I hope your happy memories of him bring you comfort in your loss. He sounds like a wonderful man.

Your grandfather was a lucky man to have been loved so dearly and you were so lucky to have him in your life for this long....and he WILL always be with you. I lost my dad four years ago this month and he is forever in my thoughts and he still lives in the hearts of all of us who loved and miss him so. The same will be true of your grandfather....

I lost my Maternal grand father just before I could remember the memories I spend with him
I THINK NOT ....
I miss having a grand father...
you know someone who could pamper you when your parents say no .. or could not give in with your whims and fancies ....
